Chris Mburu is an international human rights lawyer from Kenya with over two decades of experience in peacekeeping, human rights and global development. He holds a Master of Laws from Harvard Law School and has worked with major organizations including Amnesty International as well as the United Nations. He has served in several senior UN roles, including leading the anti-discrimination section of the UN Human Rights Office and being appointed United Nations Resident Coordinator in the Republic of Congo. His work focuses on advocating in favor of human rights, combating discrimination and advancing access to education worldwide.
